This issues focuses on her origin and how she came to be a slayer. She&#8217;s a little cocky and can get sloppy in her patrols. But she was in love with Jamaica and was the island&#8217;s protector. But when Buffy entered the Hellmouth, she was called to come to Sunnydale. Leaving her watcher Zabuto and her Aunt Vea behind.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mrmonkreadscomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Buffy13Inside.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3436\" src=\"https:\/\/mrmonkreadscomics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Buffy13Inside.jpg\" alt=\"Welcome to Jamaica\" width=\"1246\" height=\"741\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Buffy the Vampire Slayer #13<\/h3>\n<p>This was a really good issue. I loved to see the back story of Kendra, a new character introduced in this Buffy reboot. It was really well written and a little heart breaking. Seeing her called away from her home so suddenly. Valero-O&#8217;Connell provides the best artwork I&#8217;ve seen on this series.
