Claire and Tommy read more into the strange book left at the bookstore in Adventureman #2. But surely it is just a lost edition of their favorite stories. Right? Was the woman who dropped to book off really abducted by bug people? Claire struggles to keep what she saw to herself. And she can’t help but look into the address of the publishing company. Meanwhile, Tommy is unaware of his mom’s adventure while hit sits through his classes.
Adventureman #2
So far this series has exceeded my expectations. I’m just as excited about discovering what happened to the original Adventureman as any other comic I’m reading. The single mom and son dynamic is pretty cool. I want to see where this goes before reading it with my son. We might incorporate his mom into our reading time with this one too. The dynamic between mom and son here should connect with him. I can’t say enough about the artwork either. Very classic feel to it. Plus it’s just plain beautiful.
