In Year Zero #1, we get introduced to a variety of characters from vastly different backgrounds and multiple parts of the world. The differences of the people and locations are very interesting. While some of these people are unprepared for an apocalypse. One character in particular seems to have been preparing for years. Also, we get a glimpse of what could have started the sickness that turns people mindless and violent. How will all these people come together and survive?
Year Zero #1
Honestly, the issue starts off kind of slow. Which is concerning for a five issue series. I don’t think you want to “waste” too many issues without giving a ton of action. But at the same time, this was all necessary I believe. It’s a little too early to tell, but I think I’m going to enjoy this story. Benjamin Percy has proven to be a very entertaining creator. We will see as the story unfolds.
