The King Egg the New Mutants brought back to Krakoa has brought a legion of Brood to Earth in X-Men #9. And the X-Men are trying to lure them away. Meanwhile, a Kree accuser has taken hostages in order to find the Egg. As it turns out, the Kree have been waiting 8 millennia to release this weapon. And just when the X-Men think it might be over for them, a surprise stops the Brood in their tracks.

X-Men #9
This is an exciting issue with a ton of moving parts. Multiple groups from across the universe are converging on the same spot for different reasons. Once again, I appreciate Hickmans use of the white pages for in depths explanations of what is happening. I wonder what it would look like if he used the regular flow of the comic to flesh these details out. But I do like to take time to read the extra material.
