Family Tree #5

Lorretta and the kids escape the doctor’s apartment in Family Tree #5. But not before Grandpa is overtaken by the cult members. Meg’s condition is moving along much faster than anticipated. And it’s not clear what can be done to stop it. As Megan seems to come to grips with what is happening, her family can only sit and watch. Unfortunately, all is not as it seems with the doctor. Her plans may not be in the best interest of the others.

Meg wake up!

Family Tree #5

Above all, I was surprised that Grandpa was seemingly killed in the last issue. However, there is no indication he survived in this issue. So I’m guessing he’s gone. I again want to warn that this is a mature series. Language and violence are abundant. But it has still got my full attention. The twists and turns in this issue alone are a little mind blowing. And there is a significant time jump at the end, so we will see how that plays out.
