The New Mutants are front and center in X-Men #8. But this might not be the attention they really want on Krakoa. They brought back a trophy from their last battle. But this space junk turns out to be more of a homing beacon for an intergalactic swarm. The X-Men are able to quickly plan with the help of Broo and his knowledge of the space junk. It’s actually an Egg and the owners will stop at nothing to get it back.
X-Men #8
It can be really frustrating to have so many titles that are all intertwined. You almost feel like you have to buy all of them to keep up. But Hickman does a really nice job helping you stay up to date. Even if you’re not pulling every X-Men title currently running. Use of the “white pages” as I call them keep the reader informed of what is going on in the issue. But I do still want to read the New Mutants title after reading this. Which I guess is kind of the point for Marvel.
