Lin Lie and Ji Shuangshuang are trying to get Ji’s home in Sword Master #9. But it is a little hard to travel by plane with a large black sword in your possession. So plan be is to meet up with Lin’s friend Cheng to catch a ride. Cheng does not make a good first impression with Ji, and the sword goes crazy in the middle of a crowded city street. Lin quickly realizes that the reason the sword is acting out may be that someone has returned.
Sword Master #9
While the story is still progressing rather slowly, this was a pretty fun issue. Cheng’s pickpocket revenge and Shuangshuang beating him up for it was a pretty funny introduction. I’m anxious to see how Lin Lie starts to get control of the sword. And the twist at the end has me on the hook for the next issue.
