Wolverine #1 is a jumbo issue with two huge stories. There is a drug war brewing and the drug has a surprising origin. And a vampire nation is coming together and getting stronger. The pursuit of this new designer drug made from Krakoan plants leads Wolverine and the X-Force to a cult called the Order of X. But who is supplying the drug is a bigger mystery. Then Wolverine teams up with someone new after Omega Red shows up in Krakoa. This investigation lead to a group of Vampires in Paris, and a hunter named Louise. The real question is can they trust Omega Red, or is someone pulling his strings in the Vampire Nation?
Wolverine #1
Both were really good stories. The only problem I have is when do they both take place. And how are they related. I’m sure further reading will iron some the this out. But I just have a thing for flow when reading comics. I like for stories to progress and tie together. When I’m left a little confused at the end as to how this ties in to the bigger Universe, it’s a little disappointing. But overall, excellent stories and awesome to see Wolverine in action. I can’t wait for more.
