Grandpa Judd gets Loretta and the kids to a safe house in Family Tree #4. And to a doctor that he believes can help Meg. While they wait, Judd finally has the time to tell Loretta what happened to her husband, Darcy. Loretta is very resistant to the truth, but who really wouldn’t be. Before they can all even settle in, the cult chasing them storms the apartment. Will they all make it out alive?
Family Tree #4
Family Tree is still delivering on the edge-of-your-seat factor. This is a book I just picked up out of pure curiosity. And I have not been able to read an issue yet where I wasn’t immediately ready for the next one. I’m not a huge fan of the art, but it works. Very harsh lines and not a ton of detail. But its really brutal and gritty like the story. Definitely for Mature audiences with the language and violent content. But if you’re a horror/supernatural story telling fan, this could be right up your ally. Yes, a story about a little girl turning into a tree has got me hooked.
