The gods of Olympus have returned in Guardians of the Galaxy #2. And even though Gamora declined to help Nova fight them, Quill and Rocket have joined in the fight. But the old gods are more powerful than expected and have the Guardians fighting for their lives. The only thing that can save them is the help of a new ally. And possibly the sacrifice of one of their own.

I have to admit, I didn’t know anything about the Guardians until the Marvel movies. But those being some of my favorites in the MCU, I had to pick up the series. I’m always weary of grabbing an established series than I’m not familiar with. This ones has delivered in the first two issue. I like the return of the Greek gods in this capacity. I’m anxious to see what lies ahead for our heroes.
