Could we see a Firefly Reboot on Disney+ soon? An exclusive from Giant Freakin Robot in December 2020 suggests we might. And I, for one, could not be happier. I loved the show, the 2005 movie, and I’m currently reading the comics that recount the period between the two. While it’s not totally clear on what might be coming, the report is that it will be a complete reboot. So no actors returning. And Joss Whedon might not even be involved.

Another thing to consider is this reboot will likely get a PG rating. So some of the more adult aspects of the show and movie will be toned down. While this all has the makings of destroying a fan favorite series, I will definitely give it a try once its out. Everything about that series has been entertaining for me.
