Lie Ling finally decides to seek out Madam Huang in Aero #8. But can she trust her? All indications say not to, but Huang does prove to be a very skilled teacher. And while under her tutelage, Aero is able to make impressive strides with her abilities. Will it be enough to take out the Jade Tower around the city? And why won’t Madam Huang help in the fight? Ling must also learn to balance the Super-Hero life with her personal life. If she wants to keep her boyfriend that is.

The series is little slow still. But I do love the character and her development. I don’t think we quite know all that Aero is capable of, even with her new abilities. All of the motion imagery can tend to distract from otherwise amazing art. I am pleased with the art and story over all so far. I hope there is a little more action in the coming issues.
