We are taken back for a look at things from Mystique’s perspective in X-Men #6. During the mission to take down the Forge, Mystique had a special role. But before now, we did not fully know what that role was. So as a part of her demands for working with Xavier and Magneto, they had demands of their own. And has come time to make good on those demands. But the mistrust runs deep. And they someone may not hold up their end of the bargain.

X-Men #6
I have to start by saying this was a really good issue. The art and coloring for this Mystique centered book was unique and impressive. And the story makes you want to sit on the edge of your seat. Its very exciting in the sense that you feel like a bomb could go off any second. But my problem with X-Men is that the series is all over the place. There doesn’t seem to be a constant narrative from issue to issue. And I know its probably because I’m only reading X-Men and none of the other books. But maybe soon the X-Men title will be a little more self contained where you’re not forced to read everything to follow along.
