Batman has taken down Cheshire and now must find out where the other assassins have been taken in Batman #88. But there is a secret looming that he doesn’t know about. Penguin thinks he has the upper hand with the assassins but Deathstroke is always a step ahead of everyone. Catwoman is trying to find out if the Joker is alive and well but ends up with more questions than answers. And before she can confess her secret to Batman, she catches a shovel to the face.
Batman #88
So far so good in Tynion’s run on Batman. I do with the title would go to once monthly but the story has really gained some momentum for me. March is pretty gruesome with the artwork. Riddler and Penguin are terrifying. But all in all the art is really good. This is part three of Their Dark Designs arc. And the suspense is really building on multiple fronts.
