Firefly #13

Mal and the crew of Serenity have avoided another Unification War in Firefly #13. And Mal has somehow become the Sheriff of the region. He and Boss Moon are working together to uphold the law and investigate criminal activity. Yes, that’s right, Malcolm Reynolds is on the upholding side of the law for a change. At least it appears that way. He and his crew may have other ideas for the new position he’s found himself in. And eventually they may all be able to find a new home and settle down.

Sheriff Malcolm Reynolds
Firefly #13

This new arc looks like it’s going to be really good. While Malcolm may well be conning the people he now works for, it is a fun look at Mal and his crew. They have to convincingly uphold the laws they really don’t agree with while hustling enough disappear. Sharma’s art is really good. The characters are close enough to the source without just being copies of the actors likeness. The colors fit the theme and feel that was present in the show. Like a space-western. Pak continues to do well in telling stories within an established beloved universe. This arc has the potential to be the best so far.
