Family Tree #3

Meg and her family make it to New York City in Family Tree #3. Megan’s condition continues to get worse. And tension between Meg’s Grandfather, Judd, and her Mom, Loretta keeps boiling over. The trust is absolutely non-existent. And now, something new is happening. Meg is able to talk with her father in what appears to be another reality. It’s almost like they become one with the tree. Whatever it is, they are able to be together. It is just unclear on whether that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Meg meets her father, but is it a dream?
Family Tree #3

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical in continuing with this series. I mean, a story about a girl becoming a tree seems like it could get really silly really quick. But I’ll have to say, Lemire is keeping my attention here. There’s just so much mystery going on. Its hard to tell who is actually doing the right thing here. Judd seems like he wants to help, but even he’s pretty sketchy. I’m excited to see this whole thing unfold.
