Superman is away from Earth for a meeting of the United Planets in Superman #20. But back on Earth, reporters are debating on whether Clark being Superman was unethical. Mongul somehow found out about the United Planets meeting and has his sights set on destroying them all. And he’s taken one of Superman’s best shots without flinching. But can the United Planets come together with Superman to take Mongul out. And someone has sent the group of reporters a video of Superman from Unity Day speaking on behalf of Earth.

The next phase of the life of Superman has begun. And with that, a whole new set of problems for both Clark Kent and Superman. I like how the story is unfolding so far on Earth. First there was a period of peace. And now it looks like some of the people in Clark’s profession are ready to turn on him. I’m not personally thrilled about the Unite Planets story but I guess it has to move forward too. I’m a little more interested in the Earth’s reaction.
