It’s still a race to save the Web of Life and Destiny in Spider-Verse #3. But first Miles has to work with SP//dr and Peni to save Daredevil. Someone in Peni’s universe has severely injured Daredevil and is using him as bait. Ben realizes the trap, but it’s too late for Peni and Miles to escape. Plus they can’t just leave Daredevil to die. The sinister plot unfolds before their eyes but Peni is the one who foils this plan to stop SP//dr. And even if they can get out of this predicament, they still have a multiverse to save.
Spider-Verse #3
This 6 issue mini-series is proving to be worth the pick up. It can be a little confusing and overwhelming with all the different universe possibilities and the backstory for each. I’m sure I’m missing some of the nuances of the dialogue and settings. But, it’s still not too hard to pick up and enjoy if you’re just wanting a mini-series that tackles the Spider-Verse. Ruan’s art was fun but a little cluttered. There is a lot of explosions and blurred background. But the blend between the kind of Manga Peni Parker and Miles Morales are pretty good. I do fear that we are half way through this series and this issue didn’t seem to move the plot forward very much. It was a good story though so we will see how it progresses.
