Sunnydale is still without it’s Slayer in Hellmouth #3. Angel and Buffy are still chasing after Drusilla to close the Hellmouth before the Hellmother can reach Sunnydale. But what the find out is more than they bargained for. Drusilla is strung up like a puppet. And the only way to defeat the Hellmother is to keep Drusilla alive. Plus a few secrets are discovered by both Angel and Buffy. Secrets big enough to maybe drive them apart. And we meet my favorite character so far, Augie.

Hellmouth #3
This it the one even in comics I’m all in on. I’ve enjoyed the crossover and individual series very much so far. The art in this issue of Hellmouth was really good. I kind of wish Carlini would draw the regular Buffy series. Augie was an awesome addition in this issue. I’m not certain if he was ever featured in the show. But I do hope this isn’t the last we see of him. I don’t know why but I really like him in his small role. There’s a few big reveals in here that you kind of knew were coming if you know the show at all. But if not, they are fresh and still entertaining. I can’t wait to see how this drama plays out.
