The X-Men return to the Savage Land in X-Men #3. Plus, a new group of villains are revealed that threaten their security. Cyclops and a crew must go and find out how anyone could enter the Savage Land without them knowing about it. Sebastian Shaw, Ema Frost and Scott Summers must confront this new threat, they are unable to travel through regular gate-ways. The breach into Krakoa by non-mutants has caused Krakoa to shut down all travel. And if they don’t hurry and figure out what’s going on, Krakoa could turn on them.

X-Men #3
This was a really fun issue. The new villain group, Hordeculture, is actually pretty hilarious. But they still pose a very real threat to the X-Men and their new nation. There is also the fact that my favorite mutant, Nightcrawler makes a very brief appearance in the issue. No lines or action from him but he gets a panel where he is front and center. I like what this creative team is doing so far. I haven’t had to get all the issues of every book to follow the ones I want. And it says something that I have enjoyed the first three issues with the main focus on Cyclops. I’m not a very big Cyclops fan, but I have enjoyed him so far.
