Sunnydale is still without Buffy to protect it in Buffy the Vampire Slayer #10. But while the Hellmouth wreaks havoc on the town, will a different hero step up and fight back the evil? The citizens of Sunnydale continue to live their lives, trying to ignore the strange things going on around them. School still continues on. People still have work and chores to get through. All the while the ground is splitting and hell fire is seeping out through the cracks. But there is something brewing that not even the Scooby gang are aware.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #10
I have not been very impressed with the last couple of issues. I thought the series started out pretty strong, but there hasn’t been a whole lot since Xander’s run-in with Drusilla. The Angel and Hellmouth issues have been pretty good. But the Buffy series is lacking a little right now. There is a lot left unexplained. I have some theories about them, but nothing is being explained in the comic. That may very well be on purpose for a big reveal later. I won’t spoil it here if you haven’t read it, but there’s a pretty big thing going on that shouldn’t be is the rules are the same as the show.
One thing I will talk about is why are Giles and Robin sweating so much. I was thinking it was because they were at the school and the Hellmouth is there. But no one else was sweating. And then there were times where they were both sweating away from the school. Or it may just be an artwork thing and not really a plot point. I guess we will see if that develops into something.
