Yang is recovering after the Battle of Beacon Academy in RWBY #2. This tie-in for the Rooster Teeth series details the events following White Fang’s attack. Yang Part 1: Rebuilding chronicles Yang’s recovery after losing her arm. With some help from the people around her, she can learn to cope with her loss. Later, in Blake Part 1: Intoxication, covers how White Fang used Blake to infiltrate the Beacon academy. And why she fled in the aftermath.

This series has made me want to go to the series and watch. I’m probably going to get around to at least Volume 1 over Thanksgiving. Luckily it is included on Amazon Prime. As for the comic itself, there is a lot packed into each issue so far. There are two separate stories with Yang and Blake. I’m also not totally sure where this is taking place without having seen the show. But at the same time, it is interesting enough to make me want to watch the show and keep buying the series. It’s only scheduled for 7 issues so get it while you can.
