If you are a fan, you already know that Stranger Things season 3 is available on Netflix today. What you may not know is the companion game, Stranger Things the Game, for season 3 is also available across multiple platforms. If you’re still a fan of old school games like me, you should enjoy this. I have played through the iPhone version of the season 1 game and loved it. It is a top down 16bit style game that looks to have some RPG elements to it. You should check out Nintendo’s launch trailer is you are unfamiliar with the game.
In Stranger Things the Game, you can play as 12 different characters who all have unique abilities. Dustin looks like he’s using some sort of spray can, Eleven has her telekinetic abilities, Hopper runs through stuff and punches people. If season 3 is like the first game, you have to obtain certain items to advance the story and you get to play the events of season 3. So after you’re done binge watching the Netflix series, play through the game and relive the experience.
