Clerks track down Agnes and Etienne to collect a bounty in Dark Agnes #2. But they are able to make short work of them with the help of the Nun they are escorting. As they get closer to Fontainebleau, Helen and Sister Marie insist they be their guests at the feast and ball. Agnes is hesitant, but convinced it will give her a chance for revenge on Renault de Valence. Unfortunately, there is a murder at the ball, and everyone is a suspect.
Dark Agnes #2
The characters in this series are really fun. For instance, Agnes is a bad woman and Etienne is good for a laugh. It’s difficult for me to read the French names and language if I’m honest. I’m just not used to hearing it spoken. It is rated for mature audiences. I’m guessing mostly for the violence and blood. Not a ton of language in the first couple of issues. Overall, this looks to be a good miniseries.
