The tale of two eras continues in The Last God #4. The first era is the first time a group climbed the Black Stair to face the menace plaguing Cain Anuun. While they were only successful in calming the evil for a short time, this time they hope to vanquish it for good. The group arrives at The Pinnacle, where they seek Skol and her army to go with them. But a beast almost ends their journey before they can arrive. The will need something powerful to stop the spread of the flowering dead from ruining all of Cain Anuun.
The Last God #4
This title from DC’s Black Label is very dark and gritty. There is some significant language so it may not be for everyone. The violence is also very gruesome. But the creative team have developed a huge, interesting world. The history and landscape is massive. From maps to old poems, this series gives you everything you could want in a mature fantasy adventure.
