A group of ninjas from surrounding clans face off against a fierce dragon in Rising Sun #1. But there is mistrust and animosity between them that could destroy them all. With each ones unique abilities, they have been sent by their clans to find out why the protective spirits of the land have gone silent. The hope is that awakening the Kami, the horrible beast that terrorize the villages will go back to the shadows. But first they will have to work together to stay alive.

I’m a big sucker for ninjas and mythology. So this series looks like it is going to have everything I’m looking for. I like the idea that the characters will have unique skills and will need to use them together to save the world. The art work is absolutely excellent. Each character really looks their part. The character introductions were worked into the story really nicely. I’m looking forward to what this series has to hold.
