The first half of RWBY #3 focuses on Weiss Schnee. Both before arriving at Beacon and after the Battle. The second continues Ruby’s journey after the Battle. Weiss is struggling to cope with being back home after many of her friends were hurt in the Battle of Beacon Academy. “Look at Me” reflects on her beginnings at Beacon and the aftermath of the attack. “The Egg” picks up with Ruby and her journey with team RNJR. They learn that people were listening to the propaganda that Cinder broadcasted from Beacon. The student from the academy are now seen as Marauders. Can they change the minds of entire villages?

RWBY #3
I really like this series. I’m going to have to go back to the Rooster Teeth shows and watch them. The World seems well built. The characters are unique. I really enjoy the overall premise of children training to fight evil in the World. Like I’ve said with other comics, splitting an issue up sort of hurts the story in my opinion. Especially if it’s a good story, you want more than they are able to cram into half an issue. The art is amazing. Its violent but not super gory or anything. Which, for me, is a plus in this style of comic. I grabbed the Artgerm cover for this one, which is the featured image for this post. I love when I can get an Artgerm cover.
