Firefly #11

Mal and Zoe were almost able to stop the coming war in Firefly #11. But Ma Reynolds, showed up and made things very complicated. The rest of the Serenity crew is so close to getting reunited. But its Inara that may prove to be the driving force that saves them all. With the Browncoats so determined to rekindle the fight, and the Alliance so happy to oblige, there may be no escape. Zoe and Mal will have to do some smooth talking to keep everything from spiraling into chaos.

Firefly #3

This was probably my favorite pull this week. McDaid’s are is always on point for this series. He gets a close likeness to the actors that play the characters, while still making them his own. The fire fights and explosions are very well done. And I liked the pace of the story in this issue. It felt like we had been inching forward for the past few issue, so it was nice to get into some action. I’m really excited for the next issue after this one. Pak has done a really good job overall with this series and telling us some new stories in an established Universe.
